The astronautics watch has been the biggest achievement in the watch industry’s technological progress in recent years. FIYTA has broken the foreign monopoly in astronautics watch manufacturing technology, to become one of the world’s three astronautics watch brands, thereby greatly enhancing the FIYTA brand and Chinese watch industry’s international status and influence. FIYTA won the Special Award at the Science and Technology Progress of China National Light Industry Council in 2006 and 2009, the third prize at the Science and Technology Award of Guangdong Province in 2007, the Science and Technology Innovation Award in Shenzhen in 2010, and the first prize at the Science and Technology Award of Guangdong Province in 2011.
The company has independently and jointly developed technology for high-precision and multi-functional movements, successively launched special movements for astronautics watches, hollowed-out tourbillon movements, and independent movements for women’s mechanical watches, as well as the moon phase mechanical movement. These movements have been successfully applied to astronautics watches, watches for the anniversary of the founding of the PRC, Dunhuang series wristwatches, and other products. The company won the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award in 2010, the second prize at the Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award in 2012, the first prize at the Science and Technology Progress Award of China National Light Industry Council in 2013, was labeled the key products of Guangdong Province in 2013, and won the second prize at the Science and Technology Award of Guangdong Province in 2014.
Strengthened titanium is a material developed by the company for the watch’s outer parts. It is light weight, has a pleasant color, is wear-resistant and skin-friendly. The technology has won the key new product award of Guangdong Province, the second prize at the Science and Technology Invention Award of China National Light Industry Council, and received an honorable mention at the China Patent Award.
DLC is a kind of thin film material known for its hardness, low friction coefficient, and high chemical stability, and is widely used in wear resistance and wear reduction components in the aerospace field. FIYTA took the lead in introducing DLC technology into the watch industry in China and won many awards including the Second prize at the China Non-ferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology Award.
The company’s local wireless time synchronization system, special movement, avionics clock, and other control systems and products have won the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Award in 2007, and Science and Technology Excellence Award of China National Light Industry Council in 2009 and 2014.
Industry standard QB/T 4055.1-2010 “Cermet Outer Parts for Watches – Part 1: Oxide Cermet Outer Parts for Watches” won the Shenzhen Standard Award in 2012; Industry standard “Cermet Outer Parts for Watches – Part 1: Oxide Cermet Outer Parts for Watches” and “Cermet Outer Parts for Watches – Part 2: Carbide Cermet Outer Parts for Watches” won the Shenzhen Standard Award in 2013. International technical specification ISO/TS 18684:2015 “Timing Instruments – Hard Materials Outer Parts for Watches – General Requirements and Test Methods” won the Shenzhen Standard Award in 2018.
